This Program Registry will be available in fall 2004.

The CSRQ Center Reports can review only a limited number of comprehensive school reform (CSR) programs. Some education decision makers may be interested in CSR programs, including new or smaller programs, that have not yet been reviewed by AIR Reports. Thus, the CSRQ Center will make a Program Registry is available so that program developers have the opportunity to share nonevaluative information about programs not included in AIR Reports.

The Program Registry will be nonevaluative, and any provider who wishes to register information on a CSR program may do so. Users should be aware that each individual program provider has supplied the information in this Registry. The CSRQ Center will conduct a minimal amount of fact checking for each program.

The Program Registry will provide basic background information for each program:

• Focus and mission of the program
• Grades the program serves
• Subject areas the program covers
• Descriptions and citations of research demonstrating the program’s effectiveness on student achievement and other outcomes
• Descriptions of the link between research and the program design
• Description of the program’s services and supports to schools
• Cost of the program
